I spent the first half of my career in broadcast journalism, both radio and television.

My first media job was as an overnight journalist with SBS Radio. From there, I moved up to radio current affairs, then over to the ABC. Since, I have produced a number of long-form radio packages for both ABC Radio and Monocle24, with subjects ranging from elections and politics, economics and music.

I spent many years in TV news, and have worked as a live news presenter, a lineup producer, studio producer and reporter. I spent more than five years at Australia’s world news-focused government channel, SBS, and have worked for the ABC across many years, predominantly in news and current affairs. This experience included working on flagship ABC TV programs, Foreign Correspondent and Q&A: the former, an investigative story on Australia-Indian surrogacy, and the latter for a special episode in Delhi. I have also worked as a video journalist producing packages for online and television.
